10 Essential Oil Cleaning Recipes

 

1. Homemade All Purpose Cleaner
  • 3/4 cups distilled water
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 15 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops orange essential oil
  • 5 drops of grapefruit essential oil
  • 8 oz glass sprayer

Combine all ingredients in a glass spray bottle. Shake well before spraying on a surface and wiping it clean.

2. Homemade Citrus Dish Soap
  • 3/4 cup liquid castile soap
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable glycerin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 10 drops lemon essential oil
  • 5 drops orange essential oil
  • 5 drops grapefruit essential oil
  • 5 drops tea tree essential oil
  • 8 oz glass bottle with pump top

Combine and whisk ingredients in a glass bowl. Use a funnel to easily pour mixture into the bottle.

 

3. Tea Tree Toilet Cleaner
  • 8 oz Glass Spray Bottle
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 10 drops tea tree oil
  • 10 drops orange essential oil
  • Container with shaker lid

Transfer cup of vinegar to glass spray bottle and set aside. Combine baking soda, salt and tea tree oil together in shaker container. Spray vinegar in toilet bowl, then sprinkle powder mix over it. Let sit for 15 minutes, then scrub.

4. All Natural Disinfecting Spray
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 10 drops orange essential oil
  • 5 drops lemon essential oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 8 oz glass spray bottle

    •          Pour ingredients into spray bottle. Spray on surface and wipe clean.
 
 
5. Floor Cleaner
  • 1 gallon of water
  • 2 tablespoons castile soap
  • 15 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 5 drops lemon essential oil

Combine all ingredients into a bucket and mop floor. No need to wipe off. Let floor air dry.

6. Refreshing Room Spray
  • 4 drops Peppermint
  • 8 drops Orange
  • 6 drops Lavender
  • 1 cup distilled water
  • 8 oz glass spray bottle

Combine oils with 1 cup distilled water and pour into spray bottle. Spray in any room that needs a freshen-up.

 

7. Citrus Burst Aromatherapy Mist
4 drops Lemon
8 drops Tangerine or Orange
4 drops Bergamot
4 drops Grapefruit
1/2 cup distilled water
8 oz glass spray bottle

Combine oils with 1/2 cup distilled water and pour into spray bottle. Spray onto skin and breathe in for an immediate mood makeover.

 

8. Holiday Room Spray

6 drops Orange
6 drops Cinnamon
4 drops Clove
1 cup distilled water
8 oz glass spray bottle


Combine oils with 1 cup distilled water and pour into spray bottle. Spray in any room and for holiday vibes.

9. Lavender Fresh Linen Spray
12 drops Lavender
4 drops Peppermint
2 drops Lemon
1 cup distilled water
8 oz glass spray bottle


Combine oils with 1/2 cup distilled water and pour into spray bottle. Spray onto sheets and pillow case for sweet dreams.

10. Stain Remover Spray Recipe for Clothes
2 tablespoons of vegetable glycerin
2 tablespoons castile soap
3/4 cups distilled water
10 drops of lemon essential oil
8 oz glass Spray Bottle

Combine ingredients and spray onto stains before washing clothes. Spot test the stain remover on clothing before using.
